Pipe Bursting
Static Pipe Bursting is an extremely cost effective means of repairing failing existing pipes. Pits are excavated on either end of the section to be repaired up 150m in length.
A bursting unit is lowered into the launch pit just below pipe invert and bursting rods are installed through existing pipe to opposite pit where tooling and the new pipe usually HDPE are pulled back to bursting unit. We have two units in stock a 125 ton mainline model and a 30 ton lateral burster.
